Title: American Royals Pdf
New York Times Bestseller

What if America had a royal family? If you can't get enough of Harry and Meghan or Kate and William, meet American princesses Beatrice and Samantha. Crazy Rich Asians meets The Crown. Perfect for fans of Red, White, and Royal Blue and The Royal We!

Two princesses vying for the ultimate crown.
Two girls vying for the prince's heart.
This is the story of the American royals.

When America won the Revolutionary War, its people offered General George Washington a crown. Two and a half centuries later, the House of Washington still sits on the throne. Like most royal families, the Washingtons have an heir and a spare. A future monarch and a backup battery. Each child knows exactly what is expected of them. But these aren't just any royals. They're American.

As Princess Beatrice gets closer to becoming America's first queen regnant, the duty she has embraced her entire life suddenly feels stifling. Nobody cares about the spare except when she's breaking the rules, so Princess Samantha doesn't care much about anything, either . . . except the one boy who is distinctly off-limits to her. And then there's Samantha's twin, Prince Jefferson. If he'd been born a generation earlier, he would have stood first in line for the throne, but the new laws of succession make him third. Most of America adores their devastatingly handsome prince . . . but two very different girls are vying to capture his heart.

The duty. The intrigue. The Crown. New York Times bestselling author Katharine McGee imagines an alternate version of the modern world, one where the glittering age of monarchies has not yet faded--and where love is still powerful enough to change the course of history.

"The lives of the American royal family will hook you in the very first pages and never let go. Relatable, believable, fantastical, aspirational, and completely addictive." --Sara Shepard, #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Pretty Little Liars and Perfectionists series

Fun and entertaining Katie McGee's ability to craft characters that are remarkably real, relatable and complex continues to please me. I quickly became attached to favorites and was surprised again and again as they developed and grew with the passing of the story. How long do I have to wait for the next book? When will this be a movie?LOVED THIS BOOK! 4.5 stars!I think it is a great accomplishment when an author makes me care about teenage drama, when normally I would hate hearing about it. It reminds me of The Selection in a way, because I thought I would hate the story of girls vying for one guy's attention, but I ended up loving it. I experienced the same feeling with this book; I wouldn't normally care in real life, but oh do I care about what is going on with these characters! Sam, Nina, Beatrice, and Daphne provide the four points of view, and I loved everyone I was supposed to love and utterly HATED and DESPISED Daphne for being a cruel, conniving, insidious, b-i-t-c-h. She is the girl every guy needs to steal clear of, and yet I still occasionally felt sorry for her, and for the guy who is more like her than anyone else, but whom she ignores in favor of gaining a title and crown and prestige. I loved the intrigue, even though I thought I wouldn't. Although Beatrice's love interest was cliche, the relationship didn't feel forced or unnatural. Nina is the most "normal" of the girls, and yet I found myself frustrated with her for not going after who she wanted more, especially when she actually cares about Jeff as a person, unlike Daphne. This book was a roller-coaster ride, and I loved that all these girls' lives are intertwined whether they realize it and want it or not. I think the only POV that could have been more polished was Sam's, because everyone kept talking about how strong of a force she is, but her own POV didn't feel that way. It felt like she was on the sidelines for a lot of the book, and so her infatuation and "relationship" with Teddy didn't make sense. Their meeting and interactions felt too superficial for me to understand why Sam suddenly fixates on him, especially when she has been known as the flirty one. And Teddy being drawn to her wasn't fleshed out enough for me to understand why they are so desperate to be together.I almost wish we could have had a POV from Jeff, just to see what he is thinking about the two very different girls he is entangled with.I am not surprised by how the book ended, but it is still a doozy of a cliffhanger in my opinion. I want Beatrice to follow her heart instead of her mind, and to not ruin her relationship with her sister by the choices she makes. I do not know how I am going to be able to wait however long for the next book!Knocked Out of the Park Holy hell. Somehow, by the Grace of God, I got an e-ARC of my most anticipated release of the entire year and WOW WOW WOW did it live up to expectations. I’m already craving the next book in the series! Katharine McGee has done it again.American Royals is a kind of alt-history, set in the present day. After the US won the revolution, George Washington became king and his descendants have set on the throne ever since. King George IV now reigns, but his children, Princesses Beatrice and Samantha and Prince Jefferson, have a lot of drama of their own. Beatrice is in line to be the first ever Queen of America, but who will be her King? And when her time comes, will she be ready? Samantha has always been the “spare” and lived her life how she pleased, but at what cost to her relationships with her family and her friends? And Prince Jefferson, well, he’s going to have some big decisions to make soon, because the other two POVs in this book are the two girls vying for him–Nina, Samantha’s best friend and a commoner, and Daphne, a social climbing crown grabber who will do anything to get her man back.Told over a pretty short period, I’d say less than four months, this is the perfect first book in a series. It introduces you to a world we can relate to but that has this new royal element. It’s got LOTS of nods to the real British Royal Family, Hamilton, The Crown and more, and I could not get enough. The relationships…especially Beatrice’s…WOW WOW WOW. It’s The Crown meets the Selection meets Gossip Girl and I can’t wait til my pre-order copy arrives in September so I can read it all over again. There’s love, royalty, ball gowns, college campus drama, family strife, more love and romance, and a lot of scheming and I love love love it.

Rtfm Free Pdf

ISBN: 1494295504
Title: Rtfm Pdf Red Team Field Manual
Author: Ben Clark
Published Date: 2014-02-11
Page: 96
The Red Team Field Manual (RTFM) is a no fluff, but thorough reference guide for serious Red Team members who routinely find themselves on a mission without Google or the time to scan through a man page. The RTFM contains the basic syntax for commonly used Linux and Windows command line tools, but it also encapsulates unique use cases for powerful tools such as Python and Windows PowerShell. The RTFM will repeatedly save you time looking up the hard to remember Windows nuances such as Windows wmic and dsquery command line tools, key registry values, scheduled tasks syntax, startup locations and Windows scripting. More importantly, it should teach you some new red team techniques.

Nice Reference for Red Team Hackers Great reference, though it's already showing age (some commands won't work, even for the latest operating systems). But the gist of the commands is correct and the thought processes behind it them are clear and easy to understand while pen testing, so a quick Google is a good remedy for some of the more obscure ones. Maybe needs a new updated version soon? Otherwise fantastic.Interested in an actual review? These are all fun and stuff, but there needs to be a few actual reviews. This book is essentially a decade's worth of notes from an experienced network security engineer or pen tester. It looks like someone published an evernote notebook. Formatting is inconsistent and at times confusing. There is a fair amount of duplication. Placeholders are inconsistent. There is no descriptive text or explanatory notes. It is a list of commands, and nothing more.If you are an experienced command line user, it is pretty awesome. That said, with around 2000 commands in the book, there in exactly one page of index. It is impossible to find anything. If it is windows, that's great, narrows things down to about 30 pages that you have to flip through to find what you want. Even though I often know exactly what I am looking for, I still end up flipping through nearly every page in the book to find it. That is frustrating. It's true that everything here can be found elsewhere online, but that's a lot like saying that a thesaurus is just a list of words that you can find online. The proper formatting of actually useful DOS net commands, for instance, is a great example of why the book is more useful than a Google search.I'd say this is pretty much a must-own book for anyone that has to work with computers. If you are in charge of security or testing, even better. I wish it was better indexed, but can't have everything. Certainly worth the money.Waste of 10 dollars, could've invested in something more... Sure, it's a Reference Booklet, it's WAY FAR from even trying to be a manual...83 pages as many others have said, with a huge amount of blank space. Sure you can get some commands you'd get by opening a second window and typing help...The booklet saves around 4min if you're fast enough or even less if you google search. The print should cost around 2 dollars with the information it has...GOOD:It's small, pretty portable. It has a note section which is pretty useful and cuteBAD:If it doesn't pass out as a communist manual then you're on the bright side and you probably don't need it just google search.Wanna make your own duck scripts? TOO BAD , this ain't gonna help

Theology of Home Pdf

ISBN: 1505113652
Title: Theology of Home Pdf Finding the Eternal in the Everyday
Author: Carrie Gress
Published Date: 2019-09-19
Page: 315

Home. This word can stir a myriad of emotions, but "home" is the essence of what we desire; a place to which we belong. Theology of Home gives us a guide to the essential simplicity of faith and evangelization with and in the home." --Leah Darrow, founder of Lux University and author of The Other Side of Beauty "A delight, masterpiece, and a treasure all rolled into one wonderful book! Theology of the Home shines a light on the vital role our homes play in our lives while giving hearty and rich food for thought as it pertains to the theological and historical aspects of home life. One to read and reread, loan to dear friends, and leave out for the kids to peruse and appreciate at their leisure. Theology of the Home is a thoughtful and visually stunning delight that satiates our desire for tangible simplicity in the home. Gress, Mering, and Schrieber furnish educational and relatable chapters filled with theological and historical lessons intertwined with engrossing stories from their own lives. A must-read and must-have for coffee tables near and far." --Grace Patton, blogger at Camp Patton"This book has beautiful photography and engaging reflections that skillfully communicate the spiritual significance of home firmly rooted in the tradition. It offers a challenge to think deeper and more intentionally about the spaces we inhabit." --Nathan Bond, Co-founder, Rifle Paper Co.

Home. It is an elegant word, at once both simple and far-reaching. Home is a place to live in and feel comfortable, but it is much more than that.

Home is where we are nurtured, where we live, and where we love. The language of Home is universal. It is where we find the eternal in the everyday.

But the Home has been neglected. To millions of women today, there is nothing worse than being a “homemaker.” If only they knew the supreme value (and reward) of giving loved ones a place to call Home.

Written by three wives and mothers, Theology of Home is a simple guide to help reorient all of us toward our true home, allowing us to think purposefully about how to make our own homes on earth better equipped to get all those living in them to the Father’s house. Featuring more than 100 beautiful (and inspiring) photographs from homes around the country, profound words from the saints and other literary figures, and in depth commentary on the theological and spiritual underpinnings of our love for Home, Theology of Home offers readers a tour of the both the Home and the human heart.

Whether you live in a sprawling estate or a humble dwelling, whether alone or with a crowd, this is far more than a book of beautiful photos and great décor ideas. You will also learn how to create a deeper sense of the divine through:
  • Creating a welcoming environment that starts with your Door
  • Fostering a sense of remembrance through images, scents, and activities that will keep your family recollecting joy, family, and Christ
  • Making your home a place for joyful gatherings and spiritual growth through an emphasis on light
  • Prioritizing family dinners to feed the body and the soul
  • Opening up your Home to those around you, spreading the joy and peace of Christ with your hospitality
  • And much more. . .
Discover how beauty and order can bring the eternal to your everyday, and help create a path to heaven for those you love most dearly.

Inspiring and beautiful This book is just beautiful. Each page, each photograph has such care for detail and the beauty of both small and prominent parts of your home. The homes featured and photographed are all so different from each other and all somehow inspire me to look at my own space differently (and run out to collect more art for my walls!). Thank you for this book!Beautiful Book! Love this book! We often forget what a wonderful place our home is, but reading this book and looking at the beautiful photos remind us the depth of our home. Great job authors and the illustrator. My children say every time we pull in our drive-way: "We are home!!!" with such happy voices that makes me know theology of home starts very early on in life.Moving beyond the HOW of creating home and into the WHY The lovely photos and composition of this book intrigued me from the start, and after opening it you see they are complimented by gorgeous binding, glossy heavy weight paper, and the most beautiful end papers. All of those visuals lend themselves perfectly to draw you in to reading more about the authors' understanding of what home is and why it matters so much. There is plenty of inspiration for the taking, whether you live alone or have a houseful of people under your roof, but it's not typical diy advice like how to hang a gallery wall or the perfect cocktail recipe for a party. Instead this book shares the WHY behind it all- how home forms us, welcomes us, and allows us to bring others together. Hitting on themes of home like doors, light, order, and hospitality. The title theology of home is accurate- this is a collection of writings that teach about how God can and should be found in the places we dwell. The rich tradition and teachings of their Catholic faith shine through. While it will make a lovely coffee table book, I also think it merits the opportunity to be read cover to cover and discussed with friends, Bible studies, and book clubs. Even though I received a review copy, I've already purchased another for my sister and think it will make a lovely gift for wedding showers in the future.TAN Books provided me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
